OK, just back from Duckie - Murray Hill, the hardest working middle aged man in show business was on - funny! Heard so much about Murray in the past- a real Brooklyn drag king legend- so really pleased wse could put him on stage. Was late getting to Duckie because our neighbour decided to try & start a race riot by goading some asian cab drivers. luckily the minicab guys had a mobile phone with a video and sound recorder so they got it all and showed it to the police when they arrived. Thought they might arrest the neighbour for incitement to racial hatred- she was really having a go at the poor blokes because of the bombings here in London- but they didn't respond in an agressive way, even when she spat at them. How shameful. All this in a quiet corner of central London. As if the police don't have enough to do without calming racist middle aged women.
